An international audience of computer and other
professionals will gather next Friday at the MIT Media
Lab for a presentation of the first Free Software
Foundation Award for the Advancement of Free Software.
The Award event will kick off an international Internet
conference, ``One Planet, One Net'' held by Computer
Professionals for Social Responsibility. Other
conference events will be on October 10 and 11 at MIT.
