Mozilla is moving from Motif to GTK+

Netscape will be moving to using GTK+ for all future X development. Among the reasons for the move is that GTK+ is "the leading fully-open-source X-based UI toolkit". For more infomation about future Netscape browser developments, check out this link.

GNOME applications are also written using the GTK+ toolkit.
