ZD Net UK: CeBIT: Intershop for Linux unveiled in Hanover

"Intershop has adapted its standard Internet business software to run on the open source operating system, Linux. Intershop 3 for Linux is on show for the first time at CeBIT in Hanover today."

"The sofware will run on a Siemens Primergy server. Intershop is co-operating with the German electro-group, Linux in Saxony. Operating systems to choose from will be Red-Hat-Linux 5.2 and 6.0. Linux-Intershop-3 is to be available for purchase from the second quarter of this year. The company also plans to offer a developers version of the software."
