TurboLinux High Availability Cluster Community Information Site

May 11, 1999, 00:15 (1 Talkback[s])

"Turbo Linux Cluster Web Server delivers high availability and high performance for Web servers. It provides scalable and fault tolerant Web servers based on a cluster of Turbo Linux servers.

"The cluster appears to clients as a standard Web server. Web clients communicate with the cluster as with a single, regular Web server, although their requests are serviced by the cluster. Web servers can be located locally in the cluster or remotely anywhere in the Internet.

"Since the load is shared between computers in the cluster, the cluster capacity can be increased by adding more computers. If any of the computers in the cluster fails, the cluster automatically reconfigures itself for continuing operation."
