"It is true that Corel has its own agenda for promoting Linux's use in government. However, I want to promote the use of Linux by governments for one simple reason: I am a taxpayer and small business owner, and I resent it when governments waste my money."

The Mexican education ministry, for example, has embarked on a five-year project to equip Mexican schools with one million Linux-based computers. The savings in software licences alone are over $100-million (US)."
