"During a preview event here next Tuesday, IBM Corp. is expected to show the latest additions to DeveloperWorks, the company's developer resource Web site which has been in beta testing for several months."
"Chris Bahr, program director for DeveloperWorks, said beta testers have especially requested resources and tools for the Linux operating system, "so we've added a Linux content zone."
"Currently developers can download the latest alpha version of IBM's Developer Kit for Linux, Java Technology Edition 1.1.8, as well as a preview version of the VisualAge Java toolset for Linux. Last month the company posted a preview download of Lotus Development Corp.'s Domino R5 server for Linux."
