(Other stories by Matt Matthews)

[ Linux Today reader Matt Matthews writes: ]

Unreal Tournament has been released to critical acclaim in the gaming world and Linux users can now enjoy this game with a native Linux port. Unfortunately, most reviews have focused on the Windows version, leaving the Linux user to wonder how the game would play under their favorite OS. But a new review tells the full story from the perspective of a Linux gamer.

In addition to covering the usual review topics like gameplay and graphics, this review relates Linux-specific issues as well. From installation to hardware compatibility to bugs, time has been taken to give Linux gamers a taste of what to expect playing UT under Linux.

Should Linux users be asking Santa for Unreal Tournament this holiday? Read the review and find out.
