LinuxPR: BuyPogo.com Acquires XComputing, Inc And Announces Development of a New Linux Distribution

"BuyPogo Linux Solutions
announced today that it has reached an agreement with XComputing, Inc. to acquire the
latter's entire business entity and assets. This acquisition is
part of BuyPogo's continuing strategy to offer Linux systems at
affordable prices."
"XComputing markets Linux workstations and servers through its
online website. It also offers low-cost CDs of various Linux
distributions. XComputing's CEO Richard Jiang will join BuyPogo.com
as its new VP of Operations; Executive VP Julia Dallas will become
BuyPogo's VP of Marketing."
"Through this deal, BuyPogo.com also acquires XComputing's
ongoing development of a new Linux distribution. BuyPogo will
continue and accelerate development on the distribution and plans
to make it available this summer. The distribution, Pogo Linux,
will allow the user to run Windows and Linux
simultaneously."
