"IBM Global Services is streamlining 12 of its services to focus on Internet start-ups, calling the offering the Dot-com Dozen, the company said Tuesday at the Internet World 2000 show in Los Angeles."
"The Dot-com Dozen includes e-business infrastructure assessments, performance management and capacity planning services, testing services, security and privacy services, business continuity and recovery services, Cisco Systems Inc. Gold-level certified services, storage area network services, network consulting and integration, asset services, remotely delivered services, Sun Microsystems Inc. Solaris services, and Linux support services."
"IBM Global Services plans to work with each customer on an individual basis to develop financing plans, which could include IBM taking a stake in the start-up or a share of the revenue the company generates, DeBacco said."
