Website on Kylix (Delphi & C++ Builder for Linux)

May 16, 2000, 13:20 (2 Talkback[s])
(Other stories by Bob Swart)

[ Thanks to Bob Swart (aka Dr.Bob) for this announcement. ]

Kylix is the codename of the Linux edition of Borland's Delphi and C++ Builder Rapid Application Development environments for Linux.

At the Conference to the Max (early May 2000) in The Netherlands, Charlie Calvert (Borland Developers Relations) gave some public demonstrations of Kylix. A few colleagues of mine (Rick Beerendonk and Arnim Mulder - not under NDA) attended this public session (like a few hundred others) and have prepared a report with some of the details Charlie showed, which can be seen at the Dr.Bob's Kylix Kicks website at http://www.drbob42.com/kylix
