Gridslammer Game SDK for Linux

[ Thanks to Thad Phetteplace for this announcement: ]

After numerous delays and distractions, I am finally taking the plunge with a first public release of my GridSlammer game engine. GridSlammer is an open source, object oriented game SDK for rapidly development of isolinear style video games (think of the visual style of Diablo or Mech Commander). It currenly ships with a reference game called DroidWars and will compile on both Linux and Windows. This is very much an Alpha release, so there is much to be done on both GridSlammer and the DroidWars game, but in keeping with the 'release early release often' philosophy of open source... here it is. You can learn more about GridSlammer on the GridSlammer Web Site. I look forward to your feedback.
