"Inprise/Borland's forthcoming Delphi for Linux (code-named "Kylix") development tool, scheduled to be released in fall 2000, will have cross-platform capabilities that will enable Visual Basic–trained developers to create applications in the Windows environment for Linux operating systems, the company has announced."
