"What you will need:

  1. a reasonably recent version of the Linux OS (Redhat 6.1 or better, or comparable)

  2. Knowledge of how to recompile a kernel, or can wing it pretty well.

  3. an IDE cd burner supported through cdrecord http://www.fokus.gmd.de/research/cc/glone/employees/joerg.schilling/private/cdwriters-1.8.1.html

  4. the applications:
    • mkisofs
    • cdrecord
    • xcdroast (or any other cd burning application)

  5. an hour or two to hack them all together so you can burn cd's on your system."
