Advogato: What is wrong with AbiWord?

"The title is provoking but not intended as a pun towards the AbiSource Community. Many of them are very good programmers some even brilliant craftsmen. What I want to discuss is if cross-platform development is a good objective."

The goals is not mutially exclusive, but they put an different emphasis on the work process and the outcome."
