"SpellCaster Telecommunications Inc., a pioneer in the development of connectivity and remote access technology for the Linux operating system, announced today that it had received an order from Cisco Systems Inc of San Jose, California for its TeleScope ASBA 1027 load simulator. This is a follow-on order of similar equipment shipped to Cisco in 1999."
"Stephen B. Taylor, President and COO of SpellCaster said, "This isa very strong endorsement of both our TeleScope server software and our hardware. There will continue to be exponential growth in the number of bandwidth products and offerings in both the copper and optic fields between the now and the year 2010. Devices that can accurately simulate real-world loading are necessary for both Telcos and related equipment suppliers, creating a total annual market for this type of test equipment that ranges from US $400m to US $500m from all sources. TeleScope Server and Linux give us the agility to provide products which address these rapid developments and position us to capture a significant share of this total market."
"TeleScope Server is SpellCaster's Linux derivative server operating system. TeleScope Server has office server and connectivity features designed to provide both ease of use and lower deployment costs in multi-server environments. This operating system incorporates the robust stability of Linux and a user-friendly browser based user interface."
