PenguinPPC.org: ReiserFS for PowerPC Linux

Jan 25, 2001, 14:57 (3 Talkback[s])

[ Thanks to jeramy b smith for this link. ]

Thanks to the Jeff Mahoney and SuSE (www.suse.de), there is now a port of ReiserFS to Big Endian (PPC, sparc, MIPS) architectures. This port has come along quickly and we are all hoping development will accelerate now that the basics are in place. The current port is based on the bitkeeper PPC 2.4 tree.

See the status of the port at: http://penguinppc.org/~jeffm
(Spoiler: writing is not supported yet)

About penginppc.org:
penguinppc.org is run by a diverse group of volunteers from across the PowerPC Linux world. The site tries to provide resources for developers and users in a distribution independent manner. Fore more info, email eb@penguinppc.org.
