Eazel has made Nautilus 1.0, the GUI file manager slated for
inclusion in GNOME 1.4, available for download.
Currently, Eazel has limited binary releases of the file manager
to Red Hat 6 and Red Hat 7 systems, but source tarballs are
available, and the online documentation says Debian 2.2 (Potato)
systems are likely to have little problem with compiling the
required code.
Nautilus may be installed directly using RPM, or via the
Nautilus installer, a GUI tool, available with Red Hat 6 or 7.
