Enterprise Linux Today: Nuance and Jabber to Work On Voice-Enabled Instant Messaging

Nuance will provide an interface to Jabber's Instant Messaging (IM) technology from its voice interface software, allowing Nuance customers and partners to develop voice-enabled IM applications, and to IM-enable their existing voice applications. Jabber will use the Nuance 7.0 speech recognition engine to extend its current product offerings and allow its customers to easily add voice to their IM implementations.
