LinuxEmu: In focus: Laguna

LinuxEmu has an interview with the gnuboy coder Laguna. For
those outside of gaming circle, gnuboy is a Gameboy emulator that
runs under Linux.
"Q. What was the hardest part with coding a GameBoy (color)
emulator?"
"Laguna: Insane amounts of detail! Lots of people probably expect
that it would be a lot harder to code an emulator for a more modern
system, say Playstation or N64 or something. After all, to emulate
those consoles you need to know at least a moderate amount of 3D
coding and you have to write a VERY fast cpu core if you want your
emulator to run on anything but a super-fast computer. But 3D and
speed are the things I was already accustomed to."
