Glade is a GNOME interface-building tool that uses XML to describe the interface and produces C, Ada95, Perl, and Python code. Both tutorials are aimed at novices and oriented around C, which is Glade's default target language: Developing GNOME apps with Glade by Eddy Ahmed and Starting off in Glade/GTK+ by Ishan Chattopadhyaya.
