LinuxTag 2002: KDE presents Version 3.0.1 on OS X, SolarisJun 05, 2002, 11:00 (12 Talkback[s])The KDE-Team has announced that it will be presenting two ports of its latest release at LinuxTag 2002 for the first time to a large public audience:
Fink works on porting all important Free software to Apple operating systems Darwin (Free) and Mac OS X (proprietary) which both derive from a BSD-Unix background. Also, both systems will be loaded with a CUPS installation, to show the new interoperationality with Samba (including printer driver download via "point and print"). The KDE Team is proud for these achievements. These presentations are proof for the fact that KDE is not a "Linux-only" desktop environment, but remains one for the whole realm of Unix. LinuxTag 2002 will run from June 6-9, in Karlsruhe, Germany. 0 Talkback[s]
