"I've been using Linux for a while now, and I've never been disillusioned by Windows. Fortunately, I went from DOS to OS/2 to Linux and have been happy with my progression. I did have a Windows box that caused me no end of grief and turned it into a Mandrake Linux Cooker box and it has behaved much better since that transition. But now I can't help but wonder about the future of Linux on the desktop with the emergence of another UNIX-based operating system that, to me, is the desktop that Linux should have been. It may well be this in the future, but that future is here now.
