"One of the biggest problems with a lot of today's browsers is
that they've evolved into bloatware. Instant messaging, email, etc.
have all been bundled into 'suites' and caused browsers to be far
chunkier than they need to be for simple web tasks. Internet
Explorer and Netscape are probably the two fattest browsers around,
with Mozilla checking in closely behind them.
"So what happens when you realize that you don't need a
Franken-Browser? In Linux it's pretty easy, you can simply use
Galeon. In fact, that's my browser of choice. In Windows it's less
clear what the slim browser of choice should be. Kmeleon is
certainly a valid choice for Windows and now there's a new kid on
