"NZ Post will move the point-of-sale systems at its 320 Postshops to Microsoft's Windows 2000 operating system by next month after studying, but ultimately rejecting, open source rival Linux.

"Technology architecture director Stuart Wakefield says the state-owned enterprise undertook an extensive evaluation of Linux for three months with its IT technology partner, Datacom.
