Release Digest: GNOME, October 29, 2003Oct 30, 2003, 05:00 (0 Talkback[s])gnome-games 2.4.1.1I've just uploaded a 2.4.1.1 version of gnome-games. This has the evil *_DISABLE_DEPRECATED defines turned off and should compile under GTK+ 2.3 (and older 2.x versions). A corresponding release of the 2.5 branch will also occur soon, although 2.5.0 is known to compile with GTK+ 2.3 regardless of the defines, however there may be problems when parts of libgnomeui are deprecated. Note that you need to update libgnomeui if you update gtk+, otherwise gnect will not compile. The tarballs can be found at the usual places: http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/gnome-games/2.4/
control-center 2.5.0GNOME Control Center 2.5.0 is now available This release is the first release of the _UNSTABLE DEVELOPMENT_ branch. It is not yet hugely different from 2.4.x yet but it does have a couple of bug fixes, some UI review merging, and most importantly a new external dependency. To facilitate the upcoming merge of gswitchit we now depend on libxklavier. It seemed prudent to get the pain over with early. The latest release (0.95) is available from http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/gswitchit Changes
