Massive amount of mind-numbing work in fixing various scrolling
issues, including pages loading at the bottom of the page (#131305)
and not scrolling to anchors (#93721). (Shaun McCance)
Work around libxml2 bug (now fixed, but I don't want to depend
on that recent of a version) which caused the TOC not to get
loaded if there was a single bad OMF file. (Shaun McCance)
Allow relative paths to file on the command line. (Shaun McCance)

will be regressions in the stable 2.6 releases. SGML support has also
been dropped, due to dropped support in libxml2.

gnome-panel contains the GNOME panel which is the
area on your desktop from which you can run applications and
applets, and perform other tasks.
gnome-session contains the GNOME session manager, the GNOME
session manager configuration program and several other session
management related utilities and the GNOME session manager proxy,
which handles basic session management for applications that do not
support XSMP.
gnome-desktop contains the libgnome-desktop library
which contains APIs that really belong in libgnome[ui] but
have not seen enough testing or development to be considered
stable. It also contains documents installed as part of the
core GNOME distribution, e.g. the GPL, GNOME's .desktop files,
the gnome-about program, some manpages and GNOME's core graphics
files and icons.
The Network Monitor is a little applet which sits on your
panel flashing away at you so as to give you an idea of whats
happening on your network interface.
It also has a little dialog to give you more information about
the network interface.
Needless to say, this applet is not based in any way on any
similar feature in any other operation system. This is a genuine
original work. Um, well ...

IMPORTANT! IMPORTANT! IMPORTANT!
Please read this release announcement if you maintain any component
which links to the GNOME User Guide.
Version 2.5.0 of the GNOME User Documentation has been released. This
release does not yet have updated content for 2.6. The only change in
this release is that the GNOME User's Guide is now installed as a single
document, rather than by chapter.
Any links (including Help buttons in applications) which point to the
old wgos* documents should now be updated to point to user-guide. This
release creates symlinks to user-guide.xml for each wgos* file that was
in previous releases, so links may still work correctly. However, your
links will only go to the correct location in the document if you are
using an anchor in a URL, or passing a string for the link_id argument
in the gnome_help_display_ functions.
Please, update all links and buttons to the User Guide.

"Race", the one and only PostScript viewer for real men!
Actually, it's just as good (even more, GGV prefers to be handled by
feminine clicks!) for women, but it sounds better when you put it the
way it is put above...
Now, what does it bring to users of both sexes?
Fixes for the Save dialog issues (#131656), some sanity checks that will

Revelation is a password manager for the GNOME 2 desktop. It organizes
accounts in a tree structure, and stores them as AES-encrypted XML

This release adds support for selecting and manipulating multiple
entries at the same time. It also has a few UI-improvements related
to the data view, some performance fixes with large number of entries
and a lot of code cleanups.
