Gaphor 0.4.0

Hi,

I've just created a new release of Gaphor, the GTK/GNOME UML modeling tool.

Gaphor is written in Python and aims for usability and extensibility. Gaphor has an UML 2.0 compliant data model.

New in 0.4.0:

• Action diagrams
• Interfaces
• No more C code
• even better look and feel

Requires gnome-python 2.0 or newer and DiaCanvas2 0.13.0.

Fourteenth release of PythonCAD

I'm pleased to announce the fourteenth development release of PythonCAD, a CAD package for open-source software users. As the name implies, PythonCAD is written entirely in Python. The goal of this project is to create a fully scriptable drafting program that will match and eventually exceed features found in commercial CAD software. PythonCAD is released under the GNU Public License (GPL).

PythonCAD requires Python 2.2 or Python 2.3. The interface is GTK 2.0 based, and uses the PyGTK module for interfacing to GTK. The design of PythonCAD is built around the idea of separating the interface from the back end as much as possible. By doing this, it is hoped that both GNOME and KDE interfaces can be added to PythonCAD through usage of the appropriate Python module. Addition of other interfaces will depend on the availability of a Python module for that particular interface and developer interest and action.

The fourteenth release builds on the undo/redo work added in the previous release. The undo/redo abilities of the program in regards to entity addition and removal have been made more significantly more robust. Also, the ability to undo or redo entity splitting, moving, mirroring have been both added and enhanced. The ability to undo or redo entity transfers between image layers is now available. Changing the various entity properties now has more undo and redo features. Future releases will continue to enhance and extend the undo and redo functions in PythonCAD.

A number of significant bugs have been resolved in this release as well. A file save bug unfortunately introduced in the previous release is fixed. Drawing tangent lines around circle and arc entities had several bugs that have now been fixed, and a problem with storing and retrieving the angled construction lines in the drawing have been address. Numerous other smaller bugs are also fixed in this release, as well as various code enhancements that have been added.

gnopernicus 0.9.3, 0.9.4

Hi,

I have the pleasure to announce the release of version 0.9.3 of gnopernicus,  the screen reader for GNOME desktop.

What is it ?

gnopernicus is designed to allow blind and visually impaired user to use the computer. gnopernicus presents the information using three devices: speech, magnifier and braille.

What's new in 0.9.3 ?

Speech:

• Changed to report Backspace and Delete keys with 'Say all modifiers' option enabled.

Miscelaneous:

• Added a presentation for "object:tab-added", "object:tab-removed" events for tabs.
• Removed Ctrl+Shift+Alt+S key combination. "Describe my surroundings" command is no longer mapped to this key combination.

Magnifier:

• Allow magnifier to be large as the display size.

Braille Monitor:

• Braille monitor will not display text in "BRAILLE" or "DUAL" Mode Type anymore.
• Removed all things related to braille font.

GUI:

• Changed a label text in the magnifier preferences from "Cursor magnification" to "Set cursor separate from magnification".
• In the Braille Monitor preferences the "DUAL" and "BRAILLE" Mode Type options were grayed out. They wont be used for the moment.
• In the speech preferences "Say all cursors" option was renamed as "Say all navigation keys".
