"The purpose of the project was to study the value of Open
Source Software and determine whether value was being created and
leading to market transference. I first examines the background of
open source software and the licenses that govern the business
models of companies utilizing open source software. Then, I
explored the browser industry and its impact on a particular open
source project, the Mozilla.org, managaed by the Mozilla
