KernelTrap: 2.4 -hf, Tracking the Latest Fixes

"Willy Tarreau has begun maintaining the -hf patchset against the 2.4 stable Linux kernel. The letters naming this patchset stand for 'hot fix,' intending to provide a simple way to track the latest important 2.4 fixes between official releases. Patches are obtained from 2.4 kernel maintainer Marcelo Tosatti's -bk tree. Willy noted that he is working with Marcelo explaining, 'I offered to help in this area because I already have to pick random patches from the BK changesets anyway, so the only additional work will be to pack them in a more presentable way than what I can do just for me. Marcelo offered to help me by telling me when he thinks that a particular patch needs to be merged or excluded...'"
