openSUSE Guiding Principles: Nice, But Weird
Aug 09, 2007, 00:45 (1 Talkback[s])
"The Final draft for openSUSE Guiding Principles is very nice
and a pleasant reading, but as it should serve as sort of a
Constitution (or at least as a defining writ), it has a weird way
of putting the cart before the horses.
"It starts by saying very vaguely way openSUSE is, by only
mentioning what they do: 'We are... ... a community that
provides free and easy access to Free and Open Source Software. We
innovate, integrate, polish, document, distribute, maintain and
support one of the world's best Linux distributions...'"
