"Gartner has made 10 key technology predictions to kick off 2008, and in Gartner's view, life has never been better for open source. Apple (doubling its market share) and SaaS (1/3 of all IT spending and 40% of some IT budgets) also stand to benefit by 2012, according to Gartner.
