"I would happily pay for a decent video editor for Linux, and I don't think I'm alone. Ideally, native - but at this stage, just something guaranteed to work under WINE would do the job. The Cyberlink Suite is pretty impressive and I'm sure if their developers spent a small amount of time on it - they could get it running under WINE.

"Although it's possible to donate to almost all FOSS (Free Open Source Software) projects, this clearly isn't enough. Right now - why would I put £100 into a video editing package that isn't doing what I want it to do. Money for old rope perhaps? I'd sooner donate to a project that does what I want - or is pretty damned close. But even that isn't enough."
