"After spending a lot of time with Slackware, I started looking at Slackware-based alternatives. I found an amazing little project called Peanut Linux that had everything wrapped up in a 50 MB ISO image including XFree86. Peanut worked but had its problems. I spent some time helping the author of Peanut resolve issues and we became good friends. One day I asked if he would mind if I took the Peanut base and start my own project in a different direction. The rest is history. VectorLinux was born and has been my daily love since."
