"After spending a lot of time with Slackware, I started looking
at Slackware-based alternatives. I found an amazing little project
called Peanut Linux that had everything wrapped up in a 50 MB ISO
image including XFree86. Peanut worked but had its problems. I
spent some time helping the author of Peanut resolve issues and we
became good friends. One day I asked if he would mind if I took the
Peanut base and start my own project in a different direction. The
rest is history. VectorLinux was born and has been my daily love
since."
