Nokia ports Qt to Maemo 5

"Qt is designed to enable programmers to write source code once and have it work across Windows, Mac, Linux/X11, embedded Linux, Windows Mobile, Symbian and Maemo 6 devices. The Qt framework is also the foundation of the K Desktop Envirionment (KDE) used in a number of Linux distributions.

"Nokia's vice president of Application Services and Frameworks, Sebastian Nyström, reckons that this port will help Qt to become "established as a leading framework for mobile application development."
