OpenSUSE gets an Upstart
Mar 26, 2010, 17:34 (1 Talkback[s])
"The openSUSE developers have released the fourth milestone of
openSUSE 11.3. The most important development in this release is
the shift from booting with the traditional System V init scheme to
the newer Upstart system. Many other distributions, including
Ubuntu and Fedora, use Upstart by default, or as with Debian, can
be easily switched to using it. For more information about Upstart,
see The H feature Faster booting with Upstart."
