OpenSolaris Governance Board resigns

"As it had previously threatened, the OpenSolaris Governance Board (OGB) has now resigned. The dissolution motion was proposed and passed unopposed in a fourteen minute long meeting of the OGB.

"The motion cited the fact that Oracle had ignored requests to see a liaison appointed to work with the OGB and had distributed an internal email terminating the OpenSolaris project."
