The International Research and Practice Conference
"FOSS Lviv-2011" will take place in Ivan Franko National University
of Lviv, Ukrainia, on February, 1 - 4.
The Conference is targeted at following directions:
* Free/Open software in education;
* Free/Open software in science;
* Free/Open software for business;
* Free/Open software at home.
Developers, users, IT-managers and everybody interested in using
free/open source software are invited to take part. Working
languages are Ukrainian, Russian, Belarusian, Polish and English. A
visiting session is planned to a Dragobat alpine ski center.
Event is organized by Ivan Franko National University of L'viv,
Lviv Linux User Group, National Pedagogical Dragomanov University,
Brest State Technical University and the Linux Vacation / Eastern
Europe project.
Organization board invites sponsors - companies that are using
free / open source software.
Participation claims are welcome till January, 25, abstracts of
presentations - till January, 11. All information about the
Conference, including preliminary program, registration form and
