"Carol Smith, member of the Google Open Source Programs
Office, announced the 2011 Google Summer of Code Program at this
week's linux.conf.au.
"Now in its seventh year, the Google Summer of Code (GSOC)
program introduces students from colleges and universities around
the world to open source software development."
