"Have you ever wanted to see how a new stable kernel release is
made?
Speaking at the LinuxCon conference, Greg Kroah-Hartman did what
few people have seen before - a live demonstration of how a stable
kernel is pushed out.
Kroah-Hartman released Linux 3.0.3 in front of the audience
putting his scripts up on the screen for all to see. I managed to
capture the whole process in a video, so now you too can 'witness'
a kernel release.
Now to be fair, the patch work and testing was done before on
the on-stage theatrics but still - it's cool to see..check out the
video to see for yourself.
