"The Norwegian company Screen Media planning to release the new wireless handheld internet terminal FreePad in summer 2000 which is based on Linux.

The speed will be like ISDN and you can use it in a radius of 300 meters from the base.

By running on a Linux platform, the FreePad has the advantages of the high performance and stability of the Linux operating system.
