"Hewlett-Packard Company today announced the expansion of its
Designing the Future (DTF) partner program to allow independent
software vendors (ISVs) to tailor their applications for
IA-64."
"HP's Partner Technology Access Centers (PTACs) support
development on HP-UX, Linux and 64-bit Windows(R) 2000. HP's
support for multiple operating systems (OS) provides developers
with unparalleled flexibility and will help accelerate their
development of IA-64-based solutions. Through the expanded DTF
program, HP also offers single-source porting centers to provide
support for software developers that intend to develop on either
Linux or HP's mission-critical HP-UX operating
environment."
"The expanded DTF program also offers a premier partner program,
which is targeted at ISVs that want to accelerate their IA-64
development. The premier program provides software developers with
comprehensive services, such as early access to Intel Itanium(TM)
processor-based systems, technical consulting, educational and
planning programs, and the latest development tools."
