"Dell had been added to the list of companies to be represented at LinuxFest 2000, scheduled for June 20-24 in Overland Park, Kan. Dell is expected to be represented on LinuxFest's conference track, the LinuxForum, discussing Linux Beowulf clusters and Dell's future Linux strategy."

"Reza Rooholamini, manager of cluster product development, is expected to present the latest on Beowulf clusters using the Linux operating system (OS). The tutorial will focus on the Dell's scalable enterprise computing (SEC) architectural strategy. Rooholamini will also discuss how the off-the-shelf nature of Beowulf components enables clustering to be highly cost-effective."

"Rick Hoffman, representing Dell's software solution development department, is scheduled to discuss Dell's Linux strategy. His talk will cover the ways in which the Linux community is benefitting from Dell's involvement in Linux. Hoffman is also expected to discuss the improvement in Dell's customer experience stemming from the company's build-to-order install of Linux servers."
