Replace Oracle with the NoSQL Engagement Database: Why and how leading companies are making the switch REGISTER >
"Mission Critical Linux recently released Version 1.2 of its Convolo Cluster server failover software for Linux. The highlight of the latest version of Convolo is its support of Network File System (NFS). According to the company, the new version now allows a Linux server running NFS to seamlessly failover to a back-up node, while maintaining the entire NFS configuration of file access privileges and support for NFS locking protocols."
"Convolo Cluster was released last summer, and provides for a 2-node failover for Linux servers. With Linux server failover support of NFS, Mission Critical Linux is adding cluster support to another important enterprise server tool. Convolo Cluster currently supports failover for other enterprise-level software for Linux, such as Oracle, DB2 and MySQL databases. Convolo Cluster runs on all Linux distributions."
