"Linux clustering has come a long way since the Beowulf days and technology is now, I'd say, a significant discriminator. What sort of hardware does IBM make available in the cluster space?

"The principal form of hardware that we make available are pre-integrated collections of servers in multiple form factors, either the classic U-based kinds of form factors, these pizza box kinds of implementations or also blade-based kinds of servers. These all fit into conventional racks to concentrate a lot of compute power in a small volumetric space..."
