"Open source CAD (computer-aided design) products are not a threat to Autodesk Inc's business, said Scott Borduin, vice-president and chief technology officer at the design software market leader.

"For an open source CAD project to be successful, it would require a 'fair number' of developers who understand and are interested in the CAD domain, he said at the Autodesk University conference..."
