Crypto chip for DES and RSA to be Open Source

At "Stuttgarter Studenten entwickeln Krypto-Chip" you can read a story of 8 students in Stuttgart (Germany) who designed a crypto chip for DES and RSA. On July 8th, the VHDL sources will be made public as Open Source.

The hardware isn't gratis, but the design can be used by everybody, who's interested.
