"With a few basic animation concepts and techniques under our belt I think it's time to start on something a bit larger, animated gifs are usually limited in size simply because the compression method isn't particularly efficient, at least compared with 'proper' video encoding schemes. One such scheme is MPEG - if you've read part one of the series then you probably already know a fair amount about MPEG and so you're already primed to go straight to work."
