[ Thanks to Dave McAllister for this report. ]
SGI has released a new bit of technology for use by the open source world. It's called Jessie, and is an IDE for use on top of current development tools in the Linux world
The web page language sounds stilted, and is a bit dated (no recognition of CodeFusion or CodeWarrior).
"As the Linux development community continues to expand, users transitioning from other platforms expect to have such a development environment. SGI's "Jessie", a GUI-based front end to current development tools on Linux systems, will provide that environment."
