"Given the fact that the web never sleeps and that Apache runs the majority of the world's web servers, it might seem strange that you can't get 24 by 7 support for the product. However soon you will be able to, from Covalent Technologies, which will begin to provide a 24 hour service from the end of October. Covalent is a Nebraska company that sells Apache add-ons and provides consulting. It is now changing its business model in an attempt to profit from its accumulated knowledge of the product, in the same way that Red Hat, Caldera, Linuxcare and others have done in the Linux market."
