"Linux vendors are adding enterprise features to the open-source software, including network configuration tools and failover clustering. Sun Microsystems, meanwhile, is paying closer attention to Linux. Sun plans to take a page from the Linux community's playbook and make the source code of its competing Solaris OS available to the public."
